It blows my mind that people in other countries don’t even get air conditioners. That’s insane.

I know! My parents are from Taiwan, which is this island country near the equator, and each time I visited, it was mind-blowingly hot. They grew up without air conditioners, which I applaud them for! They used electric fans and paper fans to keep cool.
